My 2013 Tapestry Diary

Not only have I been inspired by several people to weave a tapestry diary but I wanted to keep myself weaving on a regular basis and not for a specific project which had a deadline.
I decided to weave small squares on the theme 'Colours of my Year' - weaving 1 or more colours that caught my eye during each day. I record these in a notebook and weave on that day or the next morning. Sometimes I get behind but then weave to catch up but these are my rules so I can. I weave the days and then have a dark gray square to divide the months. This is my first which I enjoyed weaving immensely.

    This is a great idea for those of us who like variety in weaving. I may try something like this myself. Thanks for the inspiration.

    Thanks for the inspiration too - but I will be much less rigorous, one every day is just so far beyond my abilities - time-wise as well as self-discipline-wise. It sure does look good.
